Golden Metal Resources plc has started the application process for a short list of non-dilutive government grants for its Pilot Mountain tungsten project in Nevada, USA.

Funding will allow the company to “fast-track” its flagship asset and establish Pilot Mountain as the “only domestic American primary mined source of tungsten”.
The move follows the company’s appointment of Chang Turkmani as strategic United States government advisor.
Golden Metal added that it had to apply for some of the targeted grants via an unsolicited application, which prevents disclosure of those grants or the expected timing of an award.
The company considers Pilot Mountain to host the largest known undeveloped tungsten resource in the USA.
