Galantas Gold Corporation announced that Roland Phelps will retire as the company’s chief executive officer and as a member of the board of directors.
He will be replaced by Canadian mining executive Mario Stifano on the closing date of a proposed private placement of company shares.
Metals trading company Ocean Partners Ltd‘s chief financial officer and nominee Brent Omland will replace Mr Phelps as director on the board following regulatory approval
It is expected that Mr Phelps will enter into a formal consultation agreement with the company for one year for ongoing board and management support.
