Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc has been granted a two-year extension to Phase 1 of FEL 4/19, containing the Inishkea prospect, in the Slyne basin offshore Ireland.

During the period, the operator intends to carry out further technical studies and secure a partner to develop its 100%-owned 945km2 licence.

The primary target is the Inishkea West prospect which lies within tie-back range of the Corrib gas field some 18km to the southeast.

The Irish Government’s Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications granted the extension to 31 January 2026.
