Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc has appointed Bo Krøll to the board as a non-executive director with immediate effect to increase representation of its shareholders.
Chief operating officer Alastair Stuart leaves the board in order to maintain a majority of independent non-executive directors on the board.
Mr Krøll is a proven entrepreneur, businessman and long-term shareholder in Europa with a current holding of 6.04% in the company.
He began his career as a geophysical engineer at Schlumberger before moving into telecommunications and data management, founding and building “multiple” companies.
Mr Krøll is currently chairman and chief executive officer of SeeReal Technologies, an engineering and design house focused on holographic 3D displays with a portfolio of almost 600 patents and patent applications.
Prior to this, he held board level roles at several data management companies, including CEO of Boersinformation Telecom A/S and founder of IFX Group plc.
Mr Krøll holds a Baccalaureate from Holte Gymnasium and a Master of Science from the Technical University of Denmark.
He currently holds 57,951,502 ordinary shares in Europa.
