RIG LOCATION

Operator Shell UK Ltd has mobilised a geophysical site survey vessel to acquire high resolution 2D seismic lines over the proposed well location.

Seismic acquisition is expected to complete before the end of August and data used for the geotechnical survey to help determine the location and placement of the rig.

Deltic estimates Selene to contain gross P50 prospective resources of 318bcf gas with a P90 to P10 range of 132 to 581bcf, and a 70% geological chance of success.

Chief executive Graham Swindells said that the JV would progress well design before scheduled drilling begins in mid-2024.

The company holds a 50% working interest in licence P2437 but will be carried for 75% of drilling and well testing costs on the Selene prospect, up to gross well cost of US$25 million.
