Deltic Energy plc has appointed Peter Nicol as non-executive director with immediate effect.
Mr Nicol has 40 years’ experience in the energy sector both in industry and senior investment banking positions.
He was head of oil and gas research at GMP Securities Europe, global sector director of oil and gas research at ABN Amro and head of European oil and gas research at Goldman Sachs.
Mr Nicol has worked with several small-medium cap oil and gas companies and is currently an independent non-executive director of Touchstone Exploration Inc. and Eco (Atlantic) Oil & Gas Ltd.
He is also an independent director of independent energy consultancy ERC Equipoise Ltd.
Mr Nicol started his career with British National Oil Corporation in various commercial roles.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and economics from Strathclyde University .
