Cornish Metals Inc. has appointed Samantha Hoe-Richardson to the board as an independent non-executive director, effective immediately.
With a global mining, infrastructure and insurance background, Ms Hoe-Richardson is currently a NED of Kew Soda Ltd, Assured Guaranty UK Ltd, Ascot Underwriting Limited, 3i Infrastructure plc and independent group advisor on climate change and sustainability to Laing O’Rourke.
She was head of environment and sustainable development at Network Rail until 2017, prior to which she spent 16 years at Anglo American plc, latterly as head of environment.
Ms Hoe-Richardson is a qualified chartered accountant and previously worked in investment banking and audit.
She holds a masters degree in nuclear and electrical engineering from the University of Cambridge.
Ms Hoe-Richardson currently holds no shares in Cornish Metals.
