Cornish Lithium plc completed more than 13,000 metres of resource evaluation drilling at the end of September at its Trelavour hard rock project.
DEMONSTRATION PLANT
The company is in the final stages of appointing consultants to produce a revised mineral resource estimate which will feed a feasibility study expected in early 2024.
A tender process for the feasibility study is expected to conclude soon while environmental studies for the FS “continue to be progressed”.
Cornish Lithium said that in August it appointed ERM as consultants for the environmental and social impact assessment.
Construction of the demonstration plant, partly funded by a £1.8m government grant, has undergone “significant progress” at the TreLith processing site with partners Ai Process Systems, Galliford Try and Sepor.
Initial components for the plant have arrived on site include the first skids for the hydrometallurgical section while Sepor has secured long lead items for the concentrator.
Cornish Lithium expects completion of the demonstration plant in early 2024.
