Cornish Lithium plc has appointed Adam Howard and John Raymond to the board as non-executive directors.
ADAM HOWARD
Each represent the company’s strategic investors the UK Infrastructure Bank (UKIB) and The Energy and Minerals Group (EMG) respectively, following the £53.6m fundraise earlier in the year.
Mr Howard is a director of UKIB, responsible for leading energy and infrastructure transactions to tackle climate change and support regional and local economic growth.
Prior to joining UKIB he worked for more than 15 years in the energy and infrastructure sectors at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, ING Barings and Lloyds Bank, focusing on direct equity and capital markets.
Mr Howard has also led equity investments to support the growth of socially responsible mining companies across Central Asia and Eastern Europe.
He has an Executive MBA from Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires and an MSc in Financial Economics from the University of Leicester.
JOHN RAYMOND
Mr Raymond is a co-founder and co-chief executive officer of diversified natural resources private equity firm EMG.
He is directs EMG’s strategic and investment activities and manages its investment portfolio and day-to-day activities with co-founder and co-CEO John Calvert.
Prior to co-founding EMG in 2006, Mr Raymond held senior executive management roles within the energy sector over a period of 14 years including CEO of Plains Resources Inc and its successor business Vulcan Energy Corporation.
He currently serves on the boards of 25 companies, including public and private portfolio companies of EMG, as well as several companies not owned by or affiliated with EMG.
Mr Raymond has a BSM in Finance and Accounting from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University in New Orleans.
