Conroy transfers Irish gold licences to Demir JV

Conroy Gold and Natural Resources plc has transferred its licences to the joint venture (JV) companies established with Demir Export for its gold project in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The JV also aims to develop the Northern Ireland and Longford-Down Massif licences (Conroy Gold)

LICENCES

The company received approval to transfer Clontibret licence PL2194 in the Republic of Ireland to Conroy Gold (Clontibret) Ltd.

Additionally, it has transferred the Northern Ireland licences C1/19 and C3/19 to Conroy Gold (Armagh) Ltd.

The remaining licences in the Longford-Down Massif including PLs 1870, 2683, 3028, 3066, 3065, 3469, 4098, 3130 and 3400 have been transferred to Conroy Gold (Longford Down) Ltd.

Conroy Gold added that arrangements continued for the Mines Royal options in Northern Ireland to be transferred by the company to Conroy Gold (Armagh) Ltd.

This is the only outstanding condition to completion of the JV.

OBJECTIVE

The primary focus of the JV is Project Inis which is to develop the Clontibret licence PL2194 to construction ready status and bringing it into production as a gold mine.

A further aim is to develop the licences in Northern Ireland and in the Longford-Down Massif to construction ready status.
