She left Conroy’s board due to potential conflicts of interest with her new executive role of head of prospect evaluation with the Australian iron ore, copper and metallurgical coal miner.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to have served on the board and contributed to the company’s vision and growth over the past year,” said Ms Moroney.
“I wish the board and the company continued success in all its endeavours as it advances its ‘Discs of Gold project’.”
Chairman John Sherman added: “With her knowledge, passion and directness, Marian has made an immeasurable contribution to the development of the company and its Discs of Gold project.
“She leaves the board with our deep appreciation for her service and friendship.
“We wish her every success in her new position.”
