Conroy finds mineralisation continuity at Creenkill

Conroy Gold and Natural Resources plc said that trenching and drill results showed continuity of a mineralised structure at Creenkill in its Mines Royal option of Newtownhamilton, County Armagh.

GOLD TRENDS

The programme is on the Skullmartin Fault gold trend, separate from and 20km to the south of the 65km long Orlock Bridge gold trend, which hosts the Clontibret and Clay Lake gold deposits.

The joint venture (JV) drilling programme with Turkish miner Demir Export S.A., involved six shallow drill holes for 98 metres, with operations continuing at the target.

Conroy Gold said that the mineralised structure, previously trenched over 135m, has to date been drilled over a strike length of 100m and traced 10m down dip. It remains open along strike and to depth.

The partners will incorporate drilling with extensive soil and deep overburden sampling and geophysics across both gold trends in the Longford – Down gold district.

The JV aims to develop a mine at Clontibret, or elsewhere along the gold trends, with the long-term objective of the establishing a series of mine developments across the new gold district.
