Critical Mineral Resources plc has begun exploration at the copper-silver Igli option in the Anti-Atlas, Morocco.
PRODUCTION
Phase I includes detailed geological rock and structural mapping to 50m spacing, locating silver, copper and other “economic mineral” showings across the property, rock chip, channel and stream sediment sampling, and high resolution satellite imagery,
CMR, which is at the site and camped 3km away, said its presence should also lead to the discovery of other nearby base and precious metals opportunities.
The company will also start building relations with the local community.
Chief executive Charlie Long added that July’s fundraise would allow systematic exploration to build a database which will generate drilling targets.
“We continue to see new and negotiate on other significant opportunities, including those which can be brought into production relatively quickly.
“The recent fundraise will enable these activities while we progress Igli.”
