Caerus results indicate new Troulli mineralised zone

Caerus Mineral Resources plc said that recent drill results indicated an extension to copper-gold mineralisation at the Troulli project in Cyprus.

Potential: the new discovery will be tested both by geophysics and drilling (Caerus Mineral Resources)

PLANT DESIGN

The company and its joint venture partner Bezant Resources plc received assays for eight out of ten recently completed drillholes.

Caerus highlighted hole TRDD030 intersection of high-grade copper – gold mineralisation over a “notable width bodes well for planned follow-up drilling of the NW extension”.

The company expects to complete test work ahead of its May 2022 site meeting with Jubilee Metals Group when the process of plant design can begin.

MINING LICENCE

“The extent of the new mineralised zone is unknown at this time as it dips beneath unmineralized cover and this new discovery will be tested both by geophysics and drilling,” added Caerus chief executive Martyn Churchouse.

“This discovery will not slow down the process of conversion to a mining licence and has the potential to increase the resource being used in the mine planning currently underway.

“Troulli continues to deliver with all of the recent drillholes returning impressive grades over substantial widths demonstrating that Troulli still has plenty of upside and scope for further expansion.”
