Caerus Mineral Resources plc said it was reviewing a number of investment opportunities and was in early-stage discussions with several potential targets in key clean energy commodities.
CLEAN ENERGY
The Cyprus-based exploration and resource development company focuses on generating copper-gold value from the historic copper mining island of Cyprus.
“Whilst discussions are ongoing, there can be no certainty that these transactions will complete,” added Caerus in a statement.
The company also explores for and develops new hard rock resources.
EVM
Caerus already has a strategic alliance with EV Metals Group (EVM) to enable EVM to comply with the ‘Rules of Origin’ for electric automotive products under the EU – UK Trade and Co-operation Agreement (TCA).
This will then qualify EVM to be tariff and quota-free.
Automotive products include lithium, copper, cobalt, nickel, other metals and industrial minerals.
Executive chairman Chris Lambert and chief executive Charles Long will conduct a strategic review of Caerus’ existing assets as stand-alone development projects as well as their ability to meet EVM’s significant resource demand.
