Block Energy plc announced the start of gas sales from well KRT-39 in Block XIB in West Rustavi, Georgia.
WELL KRT-39
The associated gas produced (currently 140,000 scf per day) from KRT-39 was being flared prior to the company’s acquisition of Block XIB.
Gas sales began following the installation of two gas separators and the construction of a 4.2km pipeline to Block’s early production facility (EPF).
The company said that the well’s monetisation would further reduce its environmental footprint in Georgia as part of its wider strategy to minimise carbon emissions.
In February 2021, the company began gas sales from Block XIF following installation of the EPF and the construction of a gas gathering flow line.
WELL JKT-01
The company added that good progress was being made on well JKT-01 where drilling is expected during early December.
