Ascent Resources plc has issued 36,199,000 new ordinary shares, each of 0.5 pence nominal value, at 5 pence per new share in relation to its 49% purchase of US oil and gas licences.
The 119,000 acres of helium-rich licences lie within the Paradox Basin across Utah and Colorado.
The issued shares are payment to operator American Helium, new equity investors and broker option subscribers as well as to a consultant.
Following admission, Ascent will have 307,503,265 ordinary shares in issue, none of which are in treasury.
