The company believes that the seven-licence block contains more than 45 million tonnes of inferred zinc/lead ore.

Operator Group Eleven Resources Corp will drill four to six holes for a total 1,700m, focusing on previously identified targets.

The programme will test the southern margin of the Limerick Volcanic Complex (LVC), approximately 11km in strike length.

“Targets include areas of brecciation and mineralisation seen in previous drilling, the Kilteely volcanic centre and the southwest extensions of the Coonagh Castle Fault first intersected by Group Eleven in 2022,” added Arkle.

The JV will also again look at the 2km x 6km volcanic centre at Kilteely which has potential for zinc mineralisation.

Kilteely lies adjacent to Glencore’s Pallas Green deposit which is 5km north of Carrickittle West.

Arkle holds 23.44% and Group Eleven owns 76.56% of Stonepark.
