Arkle agrees further drill hole at Stonepark

Arkle Resources plc said it had agreed with its joint venture (JV) partner to drill a further hole at the Stonepark zinc project in Limerick, Ireland.

Prospect: could host zinc mineralisation similar in style and scale to the Pallas Green zinc deposit held by Glencore (Arkle – Group Eleven)

JOINT VENTURE

The company holds 23.44% and operator Group Eleven Resources Corp owns 76.56%.

STEP-OUT HOLE

After completing the current six-hole programme, Group Eleven will drill the additional hole to a target depth of between 700 to 1,100m depending on the depth of the target horizon.

Arkle said that the seventh hole would be a step-out hole, 300m to 500m north of hole G11-2531-01, itself a 400m step-out hole drilled at the Carrickittle West prospect earlier this year.

This pierced a large and prospective fault structure.

POTENTIAL

Group Eleven has said that the prospect had the potential to host zinc mineralisation similar in style and scale to the nearby large Pallas Green zinc deposit held by Glencore.

Arkle added it would contribute its share of the cost of the additional hole.
