Angus Energy plc non-executive director Paul Forrest has resigned with effect from today.
Mr Forrest owns Forum Energy Services Ltd, which completed the sale of Saltfleetby Energy Ltd to Angus in May 2022.
He has been involved in the development of the company’s Saltfleetby project since 2019 and joined the board in July 2022.
Angus said that following the £20 million refinancing with Trafigura in February, Mr Forrest had decided to pursue other interests.
Chairman Krzysztof Zielicki added: “On behalf of all at Angus, I would like to thank Paul for his support during his time with the company especially regarding his considerable contribution to the audit committee.
“We look forward to continue working with him as one of the major shareholders of the company.”
