Angus Energy plc said it was encountering issues which halted live tests at its 100% owned Saltfleetby gas site in Lincolnshire.
PLANT OPERATION
On 12 July the company said that, following tests and inspections, first gas export into the grid (commercial sales) would be shortly after 18 July.
Today via Twitter, Angus added that commissioning activities continued at Saltfleetby.
“We are flowing gas every day and performing live testing of the equipment, including the gas compressor.
“With each live test we identify a number of issues with the plant operation that prematurely end the test.
“We are sorting each issue as identified and remain hopeful, with each live test, that this time we will maintain a sustained period of on-spec gas.
“Nominations will shortly follow that first successful sustained test.
“Activities continue every day including this weekend.”
The company added that it would provide further news early next week, beginning 21 August 2022.
