Angus on verge of first gas at Saltfleetby

Angus Energy plc said commissioning experts were now handling the process to export sales gas from its project at Slatfleetby, Lincolnshire.

Concluded: all preparatory risk assessment and planning for the sidetrack at Saltfleetby (Angus Energy)

TESTING

The company added it now had all the equipment necessary on site.

“Contractors are working toward a target date for first flow of well-head gas through the plant during the week commencing 20 June 2022 with first export (sales) nominations the week following.”

Angus said it would complete the last of the electrical and mechanical tie-ins early next week but continue with hydrotesting, nitrogen leak testing, final verification and function testing of all pressure equipment and live gas testing with well-head gas.

“This exercise is not wholly sequential as there is considerable overlap of function testing and leak testing.”

SIDETRACK

The company added it had also completed all preparatory risk assessment and planning for the side-track at Saltfleetby.

Angus added it had advised suppliers of a spud date on 21 July 2022.
