Anglesey raises £768,000 via discounted placing

Anglesey Mining plc raised £768,230 after issuing 22,595,000 new ordinary shares, representing 10% of the company’s current issued share capital, at 3.4 pence each.

NEW SHAREHOLDERS

The placing price represents a discount of 5.6% to the closing price on 7 October 2021.

The investors include chief executive Jo Battershill who subscribed, via his company JJB Advisory Ltd, for 1,565,588 shares, taking his holding to 1,588,559 representing 0.64% of the capital in the company.

Monecor (London) Ltd, trading as ETX Capital also subscribed while new shareholders include mining funds and HNWIs [high net worth individuals].

Funds raised will be used to start the next work programmes at Parys Mountain base and precious metals project on the Isle of Anglesey and Grängesberg iron ore project in Sweden.
