Altus Strategies plc said it had positive results from a further eight holes following reverse circulation (RC) drilling at its joint venture Tabakorole gold project in southern Mali.
Intersections include (down-the-hole and not true width):
1.0 g/t over 40m from 86m, including 2.2 g/t over 7m from 86m
1.1 g/t over 33m from 84m, including 2.3 g/t over 10m

Results from remaining 20 holes (2,760m) of 6,300m RC programme are expected shortly.
Altus holds a 49% equity interest and 2.5% net smelter return (NSR) royalty on the project.
Exploration activities at Tabakorole are funded by Marvel Gold Ltd under its JV with Altus.
Drilling is being undertaken to test the potential to increase the mineral resource estimate (MRE) of the project.
Marvel Gold is also currently conducting a five-hole, 750m diamond drilling programme in the southeast of the project.
This will be followed by an aircore drilling programme to test the potential continuation of mineralisation along strike.
