Altus revenue reaches $1.7m from Newcrest royalties

Altus Strategies plc reported copper and gold royalty revenues of US$1.7 million (pre-tax) in the first quarter since acquiring the royalties portfolio from Newcrest Mining Ltd.

INTERESTS

The company currently owns 33 royalty interests including royalties on four producing mines of the Caserones copper mine in Chile, the South Kalgoorlie Operations (SKO) gold mine and Ballarat gold mine in Australia, and the Bonikro gold mine in Côte d’Ivoire.

Altus added it was reviewing numerous strategic royalty acquisitions.

HYBRID

Chief executive Steven Poulton said that the company had adopted a hybrid approach to its business.

Altus has to date 33 royalty interests and 27 project interests across nine countries and nine metals. 

In addition, its technical teams are advancing numerous prospective gold and base metal projects across Africa as part of the company’s ‘boots on the ground’ royalty generation strategy.
