Altus Strategies plc has been granted four new silver-copper exploration projects and an extension to an existing one, taking the total licence area to 824.3km2 in Morocco.
The new projects are considered to be highly prospective for silver and copper and total 148.5 km2 in the Anti-Atlas of central Morocco.
PROJECTS
Agdz copper-silver project has been extended to 75.7 km2.
AGOUDIM silver (29.0 km2) is located 30km east of the Imiter silver mine.
ASSIF silver & gold (26.0 km2) lies 11km southwest of the historical Tiouit gold mine.
ANEZAL base metals (64.0 km2) is 40km northwest of the Bou Azzer cobalt mine.
TAZOULT silver (13.5 km2) is located 13km east of the Zgounder silver mine.
The licences were awarded to the mining royalty company’s 100% owned subsidiary Aterian Resources Ltd.
PRIORITY
Altus’s chief executive Steve Poulton said that the projects were strategically well located.
“Our team is currently undertaking a systematic in-house remote sensing and mineral prospectivity programme on the projects, which incorporates the synthesis of satellite imagery with extensive historical exploration datasets.
“Our field teams will then follow up on the highest priority targets that are generated.”
