Altus executes sale of Toura nickel-cobalt project

Altus Strategies plc has completed the sale of its wholly-owned Toura nickel-cobalt licence application in western Côte d’Ivoire.

Agreement: the transaction illustrates the company’s ‘boots on the ground’ approach (Altus Strategies)

TERMS

The sale and purchase agreement, executed with Firering Strategic Minerals plc, will give Altus a gross revenue royalty of up to 1.0% on nickel and cobalt sales and pay the company €15,000.

TOURA

The project comprises an application for a nickel-cobalt mineral prospecting licence with an area of approximately 168km2.

Chief executive Steven Poulton added that the transaction illustrated the company’s ‘boots on the ground’ approach.

This sees Altus generate royalties at low cost by directly staking and monetising projects.
