Altus Strategies appoints David Hall as strategic advisor Egypt

Altus Strategies plc has appointed mining executive David Hall as strategic advisor for Egypt.

Mr Hall is an economic geologist with more than 35 years’ experience and has worked on exploration projects and mines in more than 55 countries with major and establishing companies.

He is chairman and co-founder of Horizonte Minerals plc and founded Stratex International plc which discovered the Oksüt gold deposit, now in production with Centerra Gold Inc.

His experience in the Arabian Nubian Shield began during 1985 in Sudan and he has also reviewed projects in Yemen, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia.

Most recently he was chief executive of Thani Stratex Resources Ltd which defined a resource at the Anbat gold project in the Eastern Desert of Egypt.

Mr Hall is a fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists and EuroGeol and a graduate of Trinity College Dublin in Geology.

He also holds a Master’s Degree in Mineral Exploration from Queens University, Kingston, Ontario (Canada).
