Alba renews exploration licence at Limerick zinc-lead project

Alba Mineral Resources plc has renewed its mineral exploration licence until 26 May 2024 ahead of follow-up drilling at its 100% owned base metals project in Limerick, Ireland.

TERMS

This is the second time the company has renewed the PL3824 which lies in the Irish zinc ore field hosting a number of high-grade zinc-lead deposits.

Renewal requires the company to spend €38,087 by 31 December 2022 and a further €62,500 by 26 May 2024.

PERMITS

Alba has previously identified three principal exploration target areas for follow-up drilling at Limerick. 

The company has submitted applications for drill permits with the aim of starting drilling before the end of 2022.
