$210m beneficiation plant contract for Yangibana

The Yangibana rare earths project in Western Australia has progressed with a $210 million contract, in line with staged development, for a beneficiation plant and associated infrastructure.

Mobilisation: to site is scheduled during Q4 2023 with construction planned for completion in Q1 2025 (CI-ARS-USDA-Greb)

SCHEDULE

Cadence Minerals plc said that the operator Hastings Technology Metals had signed the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreement with GR Engineering Services Ltd.

The contract includes $180m fixed price for the beneficiation plant and a provisional $30m mainly for the plant and tailings storage facility earthworks.

Mobilisation to site in the Gascoyne region is scheduled during Q4 2023 with construction planned for completion in Q1 2025 and first concentrate on truck in Q2 2025.

Cadence holds 1.9% of Hastings’ issued share capital.
